Easter is the event in which Jesus rose from the grave after being crucified by the Romans. As described by the New Testament in the Christian Bible, Easter marks the date in which the resurrection of Jesus occurred. This according to the bible was said to be the starting foundation of the Christian religion. Easter begins on Ash Wednesday, and starts a period of Fasting and penitence lasting for 40 days. This is known as the Lent. the Sunday Immediately after Easter is known as Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday marks the even of Jesus's Arrival to Jerusalem where the people laid out palm leaves at the side of their roads to greet Jesus.

Christmas is a Christian holiday honoring the Birth of Jesus. It is a time of fun and joy for families all around the world. Christians celebrate Christmas as a anniversary of Jesus's birth in Nazareth somewhere around 6-4 B.C. Before Jesus was born, many cultures had their own Holidays and Festivities. During the early days of Christianity, Easter was the main holiday that Christians celebrated and didn't celebrate the birth of Jesus until around the 4th Century. at this time the Church decided to make the Birth of Jesus an official Christian holiday. It is said that the Church chose December 25th because it would allow them to adopt traditions of the holiday called Saturnalia.

Thanks giving day is a mainly American Holiday with both the United States and Canada celebrating it. Some activities that take Place during Thanks giving is the family getting together to watch Football, and a Thanksgiving Feast, Parades by popular Stores like Macy's. In the United States, it is connected because Christian Pilgrims had a Feast with North American Indians.
